LABORATORY BORNE DISEASES

For some time now, I have been observing with biwilderment how from the blues very mortal diseases rear their ugly heads in our world just like that. In the said period, I have counted strange diseases with strange names, mostly linked to human proximity or closeness to wild or domestic animals.

Most of these diseases hardly ever have their origins in the “civilized” nations, as if someone is hell bent on destroying the remnant, if any, of the dignity left in the third world, especially Africa.

In the west for instance, no pharmaceutical company can dare try an unapproved drug on anybody because there is a stiff penalty for such an offence, but in africa with the level of man-made poverty and desasterous health care system , any nefarious money conscious multinational pharmaceutical company can creep into any of the poor nations in Africa with very porous health control system and connive with corrupt local leaders after a prior monetary settlement otherwise called kickbacks to test or experiment whatever disease they wish to experiment, and if it gets out of control they can always deny it, afterall, it is africa we are talking about, and whatever claim by medical experts and scientists against the interest of Africa is always believable, if the worst come to the worst, they can always say that the mortal disease came from the eating of monkeys or a contaminated water somewhere in one remote african village where the peoples hygiene is questionable.

In as much as African countries continue to be naïve and very unconscious about the need to begin to conduct their own scientific investigations and proffer solutions to the many health challenges affecting their people, corrupt multinational pharmaceutical companies will continue to use africa as an experimentation ground to create diseases for which they intend to make a huge financial profit afterwards with antidotes which they normally hoard until the situation is catastrophic and the people are so desperate.

The W.H.O like all other organs of the U.N are accomplices to this irregularities committed against the so called third world countries. Let no one be bamboozled, no one creates an antidote except he first creates a disease.
